Chloe Dress PDF Pattern - Sew Love Patterns

The Chloe Dress is a gorgeous party or summer dress that can be sewn as a midi or mini dress. The midi dress can be made with or without a side slit on the skirt, and flows beautifully in a fabric that has a bit of a drape to it, such as viscose or cupro. The mini dress finishes above the knee and is a fun party dress or cute summer make.

The bust of the dress gathers at the centre front and looks great in a contrast fabric. Both versions of the midi dress and mini dress have two strap options. They can be made either with fixed straps sewn in place, or with straps that tie into a pretty bow.

And if you love a dress with pockets, then there is the option to sew them in.

Chloe looks gorgeous in pretty florals or polka dots for the summer. And for a winter make try lush velvet or satin with contrast sequin bust for your festive parties!

Fabrics and Notions

The Chloe dress works well with medium weight woven fabrics such as viscose, tencel, crepe, velvet, satin rayon and cotton.

To get a floaty feel with the skirt, use a fabric with a fluid drape such as viscose or crepe. This will also gather beautifully at the bust.
